Saving Energy – LUB & TVA
Set your home's thermostat a few degrees lower on cold days (or higher on hot days). For each one-degree change, your family can save up to 5 percent on your home's heating and cooling costs! Use machines like washers, dryers, and dishwashers after 8 p.m. Open your blinds or curtains on sunny winter days to let the sunshine into your home. Save hot water by taking short showers instead of baths. Turn off warm water while you brush your teeth.

Loudon Utilities has moved to their new location at 2360 Highway 72 North!!! We are open Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. The drive-thru is open and there is a drop-box that is available 24/7.

TVA ANNOUNCEMENT
TVA is requiring an outage on the 69kV line feeding the Fork Creek Substation. LUB is taking the opportunity to do maintenance at this time. To minimize the impact on our customers, LUB has requested this to be done TONIGHT (11/17/2023) midnight into Friday early morning. The outage is expected to be about 4 hours. This will affect portions of the south end of Tellico Village, the New Macedonia area and portions of Fork Creek Rd.
