Electrical Permits

Any new construction within the LUB electric service area or upgrades to an existing LUB electrical service requires a State Electrical Permit to be issued.

To obtain an Electrical Permit from LUB

  • You must be a licensed electrician with proof of license card or a homeowner
  • You will need to go online to www.core.tn.gov or call 615-741-7170 to obtain a permit or receive more information.
